Shalom Josh McDowell & Dave Sterrett:
While I agree with the questions and valid points that you note in your World Net Commentary (see
Open letter to Sarah Palin and Oprah Winfrey) that Sarah Palin should ask Oprah Winfrey -- the question is: Can Sarah Palin then answer the questions that Oprah would respond back to her? You do understand that such an interview would be a two way street? And while you raise valid points and questions, many of the answers would require Sarah Palin to explain the failures of the Church as the very cause of the points you raise. And while I like Sarah Palin, and see her as a good role model for many women in our culture today -- and applaud her moral and spiritual standards -- the flaws that you observe in Oprah, can only be laid at the doorstep of the Church itself. So, why confront Oprah, when all you have to do is look in the mirror? And ask the questions of yourself?
On your web site you state that Jesus is God -- and the question then becomes: Should Oprah lie to the people, in the same manner that the Church has? Should Oprah adhere to the bible of Constantine, and reject the original scriptures and the real Words of God that were divinely inspired? In the article
The Ten Words (
http://TheTenWords.com ) it is proven beyond any doubt, that the original Gospels supported the position of the original Ebionite Nazirene disciples and followers of Jesus who were correct, that Jesus was a man who so perfectly fulfilled the Law within himself, that he became the Messiah/Christ at his baptism in the Jordan. That the Church is too carnal to understand the difference between the man Jesus, and the indwelling Logos/Son of God (see
Search For The True Prophet), is not an excuse for worshiping your brother Jesus, instead of imitating the pattern that he set for you to follow. That the later Church of Rome saw fit to alter the words of God (see
Bible Corruption), makes it sacrilegious and a rejection of the Truth to continue to promote this bogus fraud that can easily be proven. Doesn't this parallel the question in the Book of Acts as to: It is better to cling to the Words of God as presented in the original scriptures (see
http://TheTenWords.com ), than the doctrines of the Pagan Roman Emperor who changed the words of God to institute idolatry in the name of Jesus?
The ungodliness of our culture is the direct result of the complacency to the truth and the scriptures resulting directly from the influences and doctrines of
Martin Luther. Thus, with respect to the questions you suggest that Sarah ask Oprah, the Church has in fact caused the very cultural abominations which you note. Shouldn't Oprah respond by stating that these false doctrines promoted by the Church are not only openly condemned in the Bible as explored in the article
The Lie (
http://TheLie.org ), but that the spiritual ignorance of the Christian world is directly caused by their apostasy to the core teachings of Jesus, which has caused them to dwell in a Spiritual Diaspora (see
Diaspora). And in view of the fact that the New Testament warns that the fate of the Christians is in fact worse than even the unbelievers (see
http://TheLie.org ), why would Oprah want to share their fate? And while I don't at all agree with the immorality that you note, this immorality is the result of the failure of the Church to adhere to the teachings of Jesus and TheWay.
Lastly, because the Church continues to cling to the doctrines of Pagan Rome -- promoting a bogus lie (see
The Christian Lie), which is a part of the article
The Three Lies which is a voice to mankind inspired by the true teachings of Jesus and his genuine disciples and Congregation who were murdered by the Church (see
http://TheThreeLies.com ), shouldn't Oprah respond that she does not want the blood of the innocent and true disciples and followers of Jesus on her hands? As is the case of the Church?
Since I can't get Oprah's email address, I am going to copy this Open Letter to you on the
Brother Of Yeshua Blog, so that it can be more easily presented to her. And so that WorldNetDaily can demonstrate that they are fare and balanced when a parochial opinion is presented, I am going to forward a copy of this reply onto them. Also, while I adore Sarah Palin and what she is attempting to accomplish, the original
Ebionite Nazirenes who did not adhere to the doctrines of Pagan Rome, were far more conservative, and held to much higher moral and spiritual standards, than do the complacent idolatrous Christians who cling to the doctrines of the Pagan Emperor Constantine. And that is the point I am making -- i.e., God has rejected the Church, because it teaches men to follow the traditions and doctrines of carnal men -- rejecting the spiritual pure teachings and commandments of the Lord.
